Hi Tony.
I develop my courses using Articulate authoring tools. I have a background on web development too, but I think that these tool increase the productivity. The aren't fully customizable, but I'm always getting new ways, using mashups an creativity.
That's it. Congratulation! That's a excellent blog!
Tony,
thank you for the interesting articles. You know, I use iSpring Ultra for quite a while and like this authoring tool much. I think that you should make some research on iSpring software as well since it's worth your attention.
Thank for your sharing. Wondershare PPT2Flash is also a good Flash authoring tool which could help you convert PowerPoint to Flash for high-impact Web presentations and eLearning Courses with rich media, quizzes and simulations.
Hi Tony,
Some great articles. I love your blog!
I've been looking at an open source authoring tool called udutu, originally developed by Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC, Candada. Are you familiar with this one or have any insights on how it stacks up against Articulate or Captivate?
I am looking for power point to flash solution
I have found this one

Did anybody used it?
We've been taking a hard look at iSpring eLearning Rocket. It is a new integrated end-to-end system that takes the user from the initial creation of a course, publishing, and then through final student statistics at a great price point. It Leverages PowerPoint which makes creating an eLearning course very familiar, and allows for generating branded and content-protected slides and quiz questions with narrations, video clips, and animations. What I liked even better was the one-click publishing to an LMS. It is also fully compliant with all AICC and SCORM standards, so our existing content can be easily published to the iSpring LMS. The licensing scheme is good for feature upgrades and updates for free. It looks like it is a great “one stop” solution.
