Course Authoring and Rapid eLearning Tool Satisfaction

I don't know if I've seen this reported by the eLearningGuild, but their reports showed some interesting information about satisfaction levels reported by members on course authoring and rapid eLearning tool satisfaction levels.

Unfortunately, my blog is not wide enough for these images, so click on the image to go to a page with the full size image.

I'm only showing tools with 15 or more evaluations.

Hi, this seems to be very interesting information. Could You please provide column names, like, product, company, number of evaluations, satisfaction degree ??? Otherwise one can only guess ...

Thank You in advance!

Hi Oleg,

It is product, company, number of evaluations and rating (on a 10 point scale). Also, I'm only showing above 15 responses in the survey.

So - good guesses!

These must be the data on which the Guild based its Member's Choice Awards. Here's my blog entry on our wins.

Gabe - it's interesting that Articulate seems to be the only ones who are active bloggers and you are winning the satisfaction awards. I wonder if there's something about conversation and satisfaction going on.

Thanx Tony

Good question, Tony. Our customers definitely appreciate our active community focus in our blog (launched 2004) and our forums (launched 2006), but as Jesse mentioned in your other post, we have a long history of winning awards, which is based on the quality of our products.

So I think it's a combination of both product quality and attention to customer feedback.

Hi Tony,

We're a UK company (www.atlantic-link.co.uk) with an authoring tool that is taking the market by storm over here. We regularly top surevys like this one. We're just launching in the US. Do you know how we go about getting involved in this survey?

Thanks in advance.

Mike Alcock.

Mike - you can contact the folks at the eLearningGuild - but the survey works the opposite direction. eLearningGuild members need to use your tool or you really won't get listed.

Hi Tony,

I see this is an old article... I am not sure if you will read this comment/question? I am in the process of evaluating Lectora and Captivate for our course development needs. My requirement is a mix of 70% software application training requiring recording software actions and 30% regular e-learning.
Would you be able to suggest what is better - Lectora or Captivate?
Thanks,
Laila
