For a while, I've been trying to figure out how eLearning 2.0 relates to KM 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 - certainly there is a LOT of cross-over between what's being discussed. Well funny enough, it turns out that:
DevLearn 2007 & KM World 2007 are both in San Jose, Nov. 6-8. Even both in the downtown area.
Maybe we can recruit some of the KM bloggers who are attending to come join us for Beer and Bloggers on Nov. 7. Some of the folks I see listed are people I read all the time: Dave Snowden
Dave Pollard, David Gurteen, (apparently you have to be named David to work in KM), Ross Dawson (but since his name is Ross - now I'm not so sure about him).
If we don't do something, it seems like a horribly missed opportunity.

Hi,
I'm a regular reader of your blog. Kudos on very topical, relevant and cutting edge updates.
Im working with an MNC as an enterprise trainer in the Human Capital & Talent management field with about 10 years of past experience in eLearning.
I see an inevitable usage of elearning 2.0 tools, methods and resources in my field in the coming years.
Using fundemantally crippled training content authouring tools (won't take names here) is- to say the least- taxing on the Developer, Collaborator (SMEs)and also the Functional persons.
Furthermore the productivity loss with constantly iterated content and non-collaborative environments undermines the effort towards ROI realization also.
I would love to see more info on this aspect in your future blogs.
Thanks and really appreciate your Blogs.
